On January 18, I hosted a Climate Conversation for Eagan residents. A panel of legislators and climate experts discussed the health and justice implications of the climate crisis with community members and shared insights about technical and public policy solutions.
The bottom line is that federal, state, and local action is needed. We all need to take action, and there is a lot each of us can do.
Thank you to all who joined us!
Thanks to everyone who attended my 2022 Campaign Kickoff on October 17, 2021.
Throughout the 2021 Legislative Session I have been working to build healthy communities, ensure economic opportunity, and foster equity and justice for all Minnesotans.
My priorities looking forward to the 2022 Session and beyond will continue to be helping us address COVID-related challenges and the climate crisis using an inclusive and anti-racist approach that brings the community together, both in District 51B and throughout our State.
Thanks for your support and encouragement!
I was deeply honored at the Minnesota Capitol on Tuesday, January 5, to be sworn in as your next state representative for HD51B. I'm thankful to the voters of our community and thrilled for the opportunity I have been given to work for equity and justice as we help the people of this district and Minnesotans throughout the state recover quickly and safely from COVID.
As the 2021 Legislative Session begins, I will be serving you on the following committees:
I will work tirelessly on these committees and in all legislative activities to ensure that everyone in our community and state has the opportunity to enjoy a safe, rewarding, and healthy life. Today, more than ever, this means that we must work to build confidence in our democratic process, our ability to vote safely and know our vote will be counted; to fight for an economy that will work for everyone; and to make sure that we address the climate crisis with clean energy solutions to power the economy into the future.
