Eagan, Minnesota – Liz Reyer, a 30-year resident of Eagan, is seeking re-election for a third term representing District 52A in the Minnesota House of Representatives.

“We are facing a crisis in democracy, with our very freedoms on the line. I’m running for re-election to fight for my core values of equity, climate sustainability, and economic well-being. I’m also working to protect the House DFL majority and re-elect our Federal officials. GOP wins will mean the loss of the progressive wins from 2023 and a swift spiral to harmful policies. Let’s come together as a community to defend our values and create the world we want for all Minnesotans.”

Since first elected in 2020, Rep. Reyer has been a staunch advocate for people with disabilities, worked toward real climate solutions, and made significant improvements in the cost and access to healthcare in Minnesota. She has delivered smart infrastructure investments that benefit communities across Minnesota. Rep. Reyer is a steadfast advocate for reproductive freedom and LGBTQ+ rights. In her first two terms representing the Eagan-Burnsville community, she has passed more than 40 provisions into law.  

Rep. Reyer currently sits on the Health Finance and Policy, Workforce Development, and Economic Development committees and is vice chair of the Capital Investment committee. In addition to her committee work, she serves as co-chair of the Climate Action Caucus, is a founding member of the Reproductive Freedom Caucus, and is a member of the Milbank Memorial Fund Emerging Leaders program focused on health equity. 

In addition to her service in the Minnesota House, Rep. Reyer is a recognized business leader who has worked locally in Eagan and internationally in the UK and Germany. She is a long-time community volunteer, having served on the Eagan Athletic Association and Eastview Hockey boards. Rep. Reyer is the parent of four grown children, and she and her spouse, Jim, live in Eagan.
